This commitment instilled in me the call to community service.

Me
I was raised in a strong nuclear family where I developed a sense of giving back to my community. My first job was as a paperboy that helped me understand work ethics and responsibilities. My religious upbringing was the basis for the development of my ethical values. As a parent, I worked hard to convey these values to my children. I take great pride knowing that I achieved that goal. In my eyes, the most valuable gift that I was able to give to my children was a good education. My priorities are my family but next in line is my love of country and love of community. Now, in retirement, I have the time to serve my Country and my community by accepting the duties and responsibilities to represent my older constituents as a Representative of the Dallas Area Agency on Ageing to the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature.

Political
I have been a very conservative Republican since LBJ was president.
My first vote for President was for John F. Kennedy (That was the last time that I voted for a Democrat).
