In my career, I accumulated 34 years in education as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and junior high and high school principal. Furthermore, I completed 13 years as a student teacher supervisor for both elementary and secondary future educators at UTRGV in Edinburg, Texas and have completed my twenty third year as a Driver Education classroom instructor for both teens and adults.
Some Christian and professional organizations in which I am a member are the Knights of Columbus (an honorary life member), Vice President for Programs for the Serra Club of McAllen, Texas (a Catholic organization that promotes the priesthood and religious life), AARP advocate for senior rights, and Texas Silver Haired Legislature (4 terms).
My hobbies include hunting, fishing, gardening, music, and reading biographies.
One last footnote is that this January, my beautiful and smart wife and I celebrated 40 years of married life. Isn’t life grand!
